Mai-Hime is about girls who are
gifted with the abilities of "Hime" (Highly-advanced Materializing
Equipment). Togehter, these girls use their abilities to materialize
magical armament and summon powerful beings called Children to battle
the monstrous creatures known as Orphans. The hugely popular series
ultimately spawned off a sequel called, Mai-Otome .
